* The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking a qualified contractor to perform upgrades to the South Parking Lot, including sealing, striping, and replacement of bad asphalt. * The scope of work includes: 1. Removing and replacing 4" asphalt 2. Hot rubberized crack sealing (approximately 26,000 linear feet) 3. Seal coating (approximately 30,427 square yards) 4. Line striping and layout 5. Installation of 100 new 6' concrete wheel stops * The project will be accomplished in two phases to keep a portion of the parking lot open to the public at all times. * Work can only begin after September 1, 2025. * A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. CST. * Proposals will be accepted on or before 2:00 p.m. CST on July 16, 2025, via electronic submission only. * The successful bidder will be required to furnish proof of insurance, including general liability, workers' compensation, and automobile liability. * The contract will be awarded based on factors including scope of work, pricing, previous experience, ability to start and timeline, and references.
