The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nashville District, is conducting market research to identify qualified and interested businesses capable of performing a construction project at Lake Barkley, near Cadiz, KY. The project involves paving at Cadiz Recreation Area and Canal Campground, including replacing existing culverts, resurfacing pavement, and installing base material and new pavement. The project is expected to last approximately 210 calendar days and has an estimated magnitude of construction between $1M and $3.5M. • The project requires compliance with Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) standards, KYTC SSRBC, and DOT regulations. • The contractor will need to remove and replace corrugated metal pipes (CMP) with smooth wall HPDE corrugated pipes. • The work will need to be completed prior to the opening of the campground and recreation areas in the following spring. • The project may require Level 1 (Self) Certification of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
