Description:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Seattle District (USACE) is issuing a notice of intent to use brand name or equal descriptions for the construction of a hydrant fueling facility at Fairchild Air National Guard Base in Washington. The project requires the use of Alerton building automation direct digital control (DDC) equipment, including global controllers and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for the Energy Management Control System (EMCS). The justification for this requirement is that Fairchild AFB currently uses the Alerton DDC system for centralized management of facility systems, and using a different system would result in substantial duplication of costs. Interested parties may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in the notice. • The project involves the construction of a hydrant fueling facility at Fairchild ANG, WA. • The facility must link to the current centralized management system at Fairchild without the need for adaptive software or additional equipment. • The Alerton DDC system is currently used at Fairchild AFB for centralized management of facility systems. • Compatible systems must comply with Provision 52.225-12 and Clause 52.225-11.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$500,000 – $5,000,000

The budget for this project is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific budget or cost range. However, considering the scope of the project, which involves the construction of a hydrant fueling facility, the budget could be substantial. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the project, the materials and equipment required, and the labor costs. A rough estimate for a project of this nature could be in the range of $500,000 to $5 million.
