The Texas State Auditor's Office (SAO) is seeking speakers for the SAO 2026 Audit Conference. The purpose of this request for proposal is to solicit proposals from qualified training providers who can develop and deliver in-person conference sessions designed to support the skills and knowledge of government audit professionals. The conference is scheduled for July 29-30, 2026, at the Commons Conference Center in Austin, Texas. Interested speakers should propose 60-minute sessions on topics such as audit essentials, information technology audit, leadership, and fraud. • The sessions should be designed to enhance the skills and abilities of government audit professionals at all levels. • The SAO will only accept proposals submitted electronically through a Microsoft Forms link. • Vendors selected must offer conference sessions in-person. • The vendor must provide the names of the key personnel who will render the services. • The SAO reserves the right to cancel a session due to low enrollment.
