The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) is seeking a Construction Manager/General Contractor for the DPS Training Building and Range project at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth, Georgia. The project includes a training building and a 200-yard outdoor shooting range. The construction manager will be responsible for managing the project, including pre-construction, construction, and close-out. The selected firm will be required to provide a fee proposal and participate in an interview with the selection committee. The project is expected to begin in late spring or early summer 2026, and the construction manager will be required to use the Owner's project management program, E-Builder, for contract administration processes. Key aspects of the project include: • Construction of a training building with various spaces, including offices, classrooms, and a gym • Construction of a 200-yard outdoor shooting range with a covered range house, restrooms, and storage for mechanical and control components • Management of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor engagement • Compliance with the Energy Efficiency & Sustainable Construction Act of 2008 and incorporation of sustainable design and construction concepts • Use of the Owner's project management program, E-Builder, for contract administration processes
