The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to repair the Ghost DFAC (Building 3757) on Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington. The project involves various repairs, including roofing and exterior envelope work, civil work, and cold storage requirements. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, personnel, equipment, materials, operating supplies, tools, supervision, and transportation to complete the work. The estimated price range for the project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. • The contractor must carry an allowance of 1,600 SF of wood roof sheathing replacement and 1,600 SF of roof decking replacement. • The contractor must clean and repoint brick only where mortar joints are soft, loose, or missing. • The contractor must provide two dual-temperature cold storage containers for the duration of construction. • The contractor must maintain the units in fully operational condition throughout the duration of the project. • The contractor must remove, protect, store, and/or reinstall all Government-owned furnishings, shelving, movable kitchen equipment, televisions, and other items as required to complete the work.
