North Carolina Central University is accepting proposals for design, bidding, and construction administration services in support of University renovation and construction projects. The Open-End Agreement is an Annual Service Agreement and will be applied on an as-needed basis by the University. Proposers must be licensed in the State of North Carolina and must submit proposals that include descriptions of their specialized expertise, past performance, staff, and proposed design and consultant team. The following disciplines are included: Architectural, Civil Engineering, Construction Cost Estimating Services, Engineering Commissioning/Retro-commissioning, Landscape Design, Materials Testing/Geotechnical Engineering, MEP Engineering Services, Roof Waterproofing and Building Envelope, Structural Engineering, and Surveying and Utility Location Services. • Specialized or appropriate expertise in this type of project • Past performance on similar projects • Adequate staff and proposed design & consultant team for potential projects • Current workload and State projects awarded • Recent experiences with project costs and schedules • Construction administration capabilities • Proximity to and familiarity with the campus • Record of successfully completed projects without major legal or technical problems • Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) participation & utilization in proposed team structure
