The US Air Force intends to award a sole source contract for the repair and maintenance of two Quincy Compressors and one desiccant air dryer located in Building 4891. The specific requirements include the replacement of various parts, service and inspection of air compressors, and inspection of the desiccant air dryer. The equipment is critical for providing breathing air and shop air necessary for the 355 CMS to perform its mission. The proposed procurement is justified on a sole source basis to Laron Air Supply, a subsidiary of OTC Industrial Technologies, due to their status as the only authorized Quincy Compressor Service Representative in the Phoenix and Kingman, AZ area. • Repair and maintenance services for two Quincy Compressors and one desiccant air dryer • Replacement of various parts, including air receiver tank, pressure relief valve and gauge kit, drain, and cable • Service and inspection of air compressors, including removal and replacement of air filters, oil filters, separators, and oil • Inspection of the desiccant air dryer, including isolating the unit, taking readings, and recording data • The equipment is out of both the manufacturer and construction warranty periods • The air compressors are currently displaying error codes and are inoperable, and the desiccant air dryer is in need of routine maintenance
