The Army Contracting Command - Redstone is seeking information from qualified companies capable of manufacturing Safety and Arming Devices for the HAWK Missile System. The contractor must have comprehensive knowledge of the HAWK system and instant access to current documentation and future changes. The manufacturing facility must be capable of handling and processing CLASS V explosives, and the contractor must have technical expertise in chemistry and explosives. • The HAWK Safety and Arming Device is unique to the HAWK Missile Systems already in the field. • The contractor must have a facility capable of handling and processing CLASS V explosives. • The contractor must have technical expertise in chemistry and explosives. • The information provided will be used only for planning purposes and will not be considered as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Request for Proposal (RFP).
