Description:
The Town of La Plata is seeking a contractor to design and construct a custom inclusive playground at Wills Memorial Park. The project includes the installation of self-draining safety surfacing, equipment elements that promote inclusivity, collaborative play, and engagement among children of various ages and abilities. The contractor will be responsible for conceptual and final playground design, demolition and removal of existing equipment, site preparation and grading, surfacing installation, equipment fabrication and installation, and site amenities. The project must be completed within one year from the date of the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor must have a minimum of five years' experience providing services similar to those under this solicitation. • The contractor must be able to fulfill its obligations under the terms and conditions of this solicitation and the contract. • The contractor must maintain an original set of records on work performed, including daily reports, working papers, testing reports, certifications, and any other documents as may be required. • The contractor must provide at least three references, providing name, address, contact person, title, phone number, and email.
