The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Strategic Materials Directorate is seeking information for the potential acquisition of reprocess/re-melt of 1,978 MT of Long Horn brand tin with tin-pest (Grade A 99.80%) into tin of Min 99.85% Sn + (LME Grade designation BS EN 610:1996) for addition into the National Defense Stockpile. The agency is looking for companies with experience and capabilities in reprocessing and remelting tin. The scope of work includes the reprocess/re-melt of tin, delivery to government depots, and storage.
