Budget Estimate (AI):

$1,000,000 – $3,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the City is looking for a turnkey solution with minimal upfront costs. However, the cost of installing and maintaining electric vehicle charging infrastructure can be significant. The City's fleet consists of 198 vehicles, with 95 light-duty vehicles slated for electrification over the next four years. Assuming an average cost of $10,000 per charging station, the total cost for the City's fleet could be in the range of $950,000 to $1.9 million, depending on the number of charging stations needed. Additionally, the City may need to pay for ongoing maintenance and operations costs, which could add hundreds of thousands of dollars to the total cost over the life of the contract. Therefore, a reasonable estimate for the budget for this opportunity could be in the range of $1 million to $3 million.
