The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide ADA Paratransit Eligibility Assessment services. The selected contractor will conduct in-person assessments to determine an individual's ability to utilize RTA's fixed-route services. The assessment process will include a review of submitted applications, professional verification forms, and structured in-person functional assessments. The contractor will base eligibility determinations on the individual's functional and/or cognitive abilities, not on medical diagnoses alone, and will ensure that all eligibility determinations adhere to ADA guidelines. • Key aspects of the job include: • Conducting in-person ADA Paratransit Eligibility Assessments • Reviewing and evaluating submitted applications • Conducting follow-up interviews as needed • Assessing applicants' ability to use fixed-route transit • Validating third-party-submitted responses with the applicant • Basing eligibility determinations on functional and/or cognitive abilities • Ensuring adherence to ADA guidelines
