Mercer County is seeking a consultant to provide strategic planning and stakeholder engagement services to support the economic development of the Capital Region. The consultant will assess current structures, develop a stakeholder engagement plan, facilitate quarterly meetings, and assist with public relations initiatives. The scope of work includes organizational assessment, stakeholder engagement, and community and business partner engagement. The selected consultant will be required to provide a detailed understanding of the project objectives, proposed methodology, and timeline. • The consultant will work on strategic planning and stakeholder engagement to support economic development in the Capital Region. • The consultant will assess current structures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and coordination. • The consultant will develop and implement a stakeholder engagement plan with businesses, residents, nonprofits, anchor institutions, and regional/state partners. • The consultant will facilitate quarterly meetings with identified stakeholders and one yearly public event. • The consultant will assist with public relations initiatives for the County as it pertains to the Capital Region.
