The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call Fire and HazMat Plan Review and Environmental Consultation services. The required services include permit processing, plan check services, and hazardous materials environmental consulting. Proposers should include their firm's expertise and billable rate for each job description listed, as well as any previous experience with the City of Palo Alto or other government agencies. • The services will include review of fire and hazardous materials permits, plans, and applications for compliance with city ordinances, standards, policies, and guidelines. • The consultant shall provide personnel capable of reviewing and providing recommendations to written city inspection guidelines. • The consultant shall ensure that all equipment and training necessary to perform the work are provided, unless otherwise directed by the City. • The consultant shall maintain certifications required to perform the services requested by the City. • The City retains the right to reject any or all of the consultant's staff. • Invoices shall be submitted electronically, and reimbursable expenses shall be reimbursed at cost.
