The Board of Water Works of Pueblo is seeking a contractor to perform subgrade preparation and asphalt installation services. The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and traffic control to successfully perform the work. The project includes a pre-construction site visit and a mandatory prebid conference. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances. • The contractor must provide a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check or bid bond. • The contractor must furnish performance and payment bonds. • The contractor must comply with the Colorado labor statute, which requires the employment of Colorado labor to the extent of not less than eighty percent of each type or class of labor. • The contractor must submit a certified statement that they are able to and will comply with the above statute.
