The Upson County Board of Commissioners is seeking design-build services for the demolition and reconstruction of the concession stand at the Thomaston-Upson Civic Center Baseball Field. The project includes the demolition of the existing concession stand and sand volleyball court, design and construction of a new concession stand, integration of utilities, ADA compliance, and site grading. The proposal package must include a cover letter, company profile, proposed project team, conceptual design approach, preliminary project schedule, cost proposal, and other required documents. • The concession stand must be a modern, code-compliant facility with robust electrical for food service needs, large ADA-compliant restrooms, and wireless networking capability. • The project includes the construction of a batting cage with an aluminum canopy system, lighting, and power. • The project also includes the construction of three covered scorer's platforms with electrical power and Wi-Fi access. • The proposal must include a signed copy of the proposal pricing and agreement form, non-collusive affidavit, contractor affidavit, and other required documents. • The contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible bidder who demonstrates the greatest value and benefit to the county.
