The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a General Engineering Consultant (GEC) to provide post-let services for the I-16 project from I-95/Chatham to SR 67/Bulloch. The selected consultant will serve as a technical extension of GDOT's P3 Division and Program Management Consultant (PMC) staff, assisting in the delivery of the project. The scope of work includes project management and coordination support, quality assurance and contract compliance reviews, environmental services support, and project controls. The consultant will be required to provide monthly status reports, support the project management team in evaluating contract change management, and participate in project meetings. • The project involves post-let services for the I-16 project from I-95/Chatham to SR 67/Bulloch. • The consultant will provide project management and coordination support, including coordinating with other agencies and entities, participating in meetings, and coordinating with the PMC and Design Build (DB) Team. • The consultant will conduct quality assurance and contract compliance reviews of DB submittals, including technical and constructability reviews. • The consultant will provide environmental services support, including preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Re-evaluation submittals and coordinating with GDOT's Office of Environmental Services (OES) and PMC. • The consultant will provide project controls, including providing monthly status reports and supporting the project management team in evaluating contract change management.
