Description:
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the testing, maintenance, upgrade, and optimization of their existing water systems. These systems include heating and cooling water, cooling tower water, closed loop condenser water, glycol systems, and water softeners. The selected contractor will ensure optimal operation through scheduled water quality testing, chemical treatment, preventive maintenance of water treatment equipment and components, and compliance with industry standards. • The contractor must have at least 10 years of experience providing the requested services and must provide at least three references from organizations of similar size and scope to UMBC. • The contractor must provide evidence of financial stability and agree to comply with all applicable University System of Maryland and State of Maryland procurement policies, terms, and conditions. • The contractor must employ certified water treatment technicians and be compliant with local environmental and health safety standards. • The contractor must provide a detailed approach for maintenance, testing, and upgrades, as well as a proposed water treatment plan and monitoring program.
