The Town of Pelahatchie, Mississippi is seeking bids for the construction of wastewater treatment facility improvements. The project includes the construction of a tank and well, and all other related items of work required to complete the project as shown and specified in the contract documents. The total contract time will be 365 consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $700 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on October 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM. • The project is expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Mississippi Municipality & County Water Infrastructure Grant Program (MCWI) and the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). • The project will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with MCWI and ARC Regulations. • The project will require compliance with the Uniform Guidance provisions, including Subpart A, Acronyms and Definitions, Subpart B, General Provisions, and others. • The project will require a bid bond or a certified cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the total bid price. • The project will require the contractor to affirmatively ensure that disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, religion, or national origin in consideration for an award.
