The County of El Dorado is seeking qualified contractors to provide as-needed vehicle abatement services. The services will include the removal and abatement of vehicles, including automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, sport utility vehicles, boats, trailers, and recreational vehicles, from private property or public streets. The contractor will be required to employ drivers who are covered by workers' compensation insurance and subject to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's alcohol and drug testing rules. The contractor must also have a carrier identification number from the California Highway Patrol and provide proof of the most recent CHP inspection. • The contractor will be responsible for removing and abating vehicles and all parts/debris thereof from private property or public streets. • The contractor must have a carrier identification number from the California Highway Patrol. • The contractor must provide proof of the most recent CHP inspection. • The contractor must employ drivers who are covered by workers' compensation insurance and subject to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's alcohol and drug testing rules. • The contractor will be selected based on their qualifications, experience, and responsiveness to the RFQ. • The contract will be for a period of three years from the date of award.
