MARTA is seeking proposals from firms to provide program management consulting support services for their Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) project. The project includes various support functions such as project management, design management, implementation management, construction management, operational readiness, and administrative services. The selected firm will be responsible for ensuring compliance with FTA guidelines and reporting. Key aspects of the project include: • Project management: scope, schedule, budget monitoring, and stakeholder communications • Design management: verification of vendor compliance with RFP criteria • Implementation management: cutover planning, commissioning/test plans, sustained performance analysis, safety and security certification support • Construction management: construction compliance, construction quality, construction safety, and security • Operational readiness: training program, maintenance program, standard operating procedure development, staffing, and organizational recommendations • Administrative services: monthly status reports, issue reports, conducting meetings, and meeting minutes
