The City of Suwanee is seeking a design firm to provide professional design and construction administration services for a new police headquarters. The project includes site design, building design, obtaining permit approvals, construction and bidding documents, cost control, and construction oversight. The building is expected to be approximately 25,000 SF and will be constructed on a 2-acre site. The designer will work with the City and the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to establish a detailed schedule for the design process and ensure that the project is constructed within the specified budget. • The project includes design of utilities, site design, and building design • The designer will provide cost estimates and work with the CMAR to prioritize the various aspects of the work considering budgetary constraints • The designer will provide assistance in bidding and construction administration • The project is expected to be funded by the 2023 SPLOST Program • The City requires a state-of-the-art facility with a unique identity that is complementary to the Town Center area
