Description:
The Employment Development Department (EDD) is seeking a contractor to provide fire and intrusion alarm monitoring, annual fire alarm inspections, and "as-needed" alarm maintenance and repairs services for the EDD facility located at 297 West Hedding Street, San Jose, CA 95110. The contract term is expected to be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029. The contractor will be required to provide 24-hour daily alarm testing, perform annual fire alarm system inspections, and provide maintenance and repair services as needed. The contractor must also provide customer software support, software maintenance, and trained personnel to complete all work agreed upon. • The contractor must be UL certified to monitor fire and intrusion alarm systems, maintain and repair fire and intrusion alarm systems, and test fire and intrusion alarm systems. • The contractor must provide inspections for proper operation of the alarm systems and perform as-needed maintenance, repair, and replacement of hardware and equipment. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonding as required by the EDD. • The contractor must comply with the EDD's health and safety requirements and follow all guidelines from the California Department of Public Health and local public health officials.
