The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office is seeking proposals from qualified law firms to provide legal services related to ephemeral messaging practices and policies. The selected firm will assist the City Attorney’s Office with legal research, advice, and reports regarding the City’s prior and current practices and policies, as well as litigation services and representation in trial and appellate courts. The firm will also provide services related to a currently pending lawsuit, including motions and discovery. • The scope of work includes legal research, advice, and reports on ephemeral messaging practices and policies • The firm will provide litigation services and representation in trial and appellate courts • The firm will assist with motions and discovery in a currently pending lawsuit • The City Attorney’s Office is seeking a firm with substantial expertise and experience in advising and defending local agencies in litigation involving public records and document retention laws • The firm must have experience with technical aspects of Google Workspace and ephemeral messaging applications
