The City of Philadelphia is seeking qualified respondents to provide Heavy Highway Construction Services for Bridges and Structures. The purpose of this RFP is to create an on-call contract to perform On-Call Bridge Rehabilitation work related to structural improvements for City-owned structures. The construction work will support the City's compliance efforts to address deterioration noted during safety inspections as well as address emergency work resulting from unexpected events. Key responsibilities include managing, performing, and completing bridge rehabilitation work in dense urban environments, and being familiar with both City and PennDOT construction standards and requirements. • The City intends to award a written contract to one or more of the respondents who best meet the City's objectives and selection criteria. • The contract will be for a term of 180 calendar days. • The City reserves the right to extend or postpone the date and time of the deadline for submitting proposals. • Respondents must submit their proposals electronically through the PHL Contracts website. • The City will evaluate proposals based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost proposal.
