Budget Estimate (AI):

$14,000,000 – $150,000,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the production quantities and the complexity of the AIFF Combined Interrogator Transponder system. The government is expecting to procure between 140 to 185 upgrades per year, with a total of 300 production AIFF CIT upgrades or replacements from FY24 to FY27. The cost of each unit can be estimated to be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000, considering the complexity of the system and the requirements for security and quality assurance. Therefore, the total budget for the contract can be estimated to be in the range of $14 million to $150 million over the course of 4 years. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the vendor's experience, the level of competition, and the government's budget constraints.
