The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is soliciting bids to construct and restore approximately 3,500 acres of wetlands on the Webb Tract in Contra Costa County. The contractor will be responsible for building and heightening berms, modifying toe‑ditches, grading, constructing access roads, installing water‑control structures, clearing and grubbing, furnishing and planting native wetland vegetation, and performing related site‑work and temporary facilities. The project is funded with an estimated contract value of $13‑16.5 million and must be completed within 575 working days after the Notice to Proceed.
