The City of Peekskill is seeking a landscape architectural/engineering firm to provide professional services for the Depew Park Renovation Project. The project includes the design and construction of various park amenities, such as tennis courts, a pavilion, basketball courts, and a playground. The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing plans and specifications, obtaining necessary permits, and providing construction administration and inspection services. The project is funded by grants from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the Dormitory Authority's Community Resiliency, Economic Sustainability, and Technology program. • The project involves the renovation of approximately 2 acres of parkland, including the construction of new amenities and the refurbishment of existing ones. • The consultant will be required to prepare a work plan, draft design, and final design and construction documents. • The consultant will also be responsible for obtaining necessary permits and approvals, including those related to environmental and accessibility requirements. • The project is expected to be completed within 12 months, with a start date of January 2, 2026. • The consultant will be required to provide construction administration and site inspection services, including attending pre-construction meetings, monitoring progress, and responding to requests for information. • The consultant will also be required to submit a final project report, including a statement of completion, certified as-built plans, and photo-documentation.
