The City of Jacksonville Beach is seeking experienced and qualified contractors to install underground electric infrastructure on an as-needed basis. The work includes the installation, renewal, and replacement of new and existing underground electric facilities. The selected contractor will also assist the City's staff in restoring services during emergency situations. The contract term will be for five years, and the City reserves the right to negotiate with the highest-rated respondent. The contractor must have the capability, experience, and licensing necessary to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies for the installation of underground conduits, manholes, cables, and other apparatus. • The contractor must provide references for at least three similar projects. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. • The contractor must register with and use the E-Verify system to verify the work authorization status of all new employees. • The contractor must provide a completed package, including one original and three copies, and a USB thumb drive with all required information.
