Description:
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that can provide Protective Clothing & Operational Supplies Rental Services. The services include providing protective clothing and operational supplies for the CHP's Central Los Angeles Area office. The contract term is anticipated to be effective from April 1, 2026, through April 30, 2028. The bidder must have at least three consecutive years of experience in providing protective clothing and operational supplies services. The bidder must also meet other qualification requirements, including having a local city or county business license and being in good standing. • The services to be provided include renting protective clothing and operational supplies to the CHP. • The bidder must have experience in managing and operating a company that provides protective clothing and operational supplies services. • The bidder must certify their willingness to comply with all terms and conditions addressed in the agreement. • The bidder must have a past record of sound business integrity and history of being responsive to past contractual obligations. • The bidder must provide proof of liability insurance that meets the requirements in Exhibit E, entitled "Insurance Requirements". • The successful bidder and all personnel assigned to the contract will be subject to a driver's license check before access to a CHP facility is authorized.
