The County of Riverside is seeking proposals from competent parties qualified in providing temporary cleaning services for Environmental Services (EVS) to support Riverside University Health System (RUHS) Medical Center and Arlington (ITF) campus. The selected vendor will be required to provide janitorial services on an as-needed basis to both locations. The services are a component of RUHS's system of care aimed at improving the health and safety of its patients and the community. The bidder shall ensure that they maintain cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards throughout the facility to support hospital operations. Some key requirements include: • Bidder shall clean and sanitize: Delivery of a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. • Infection Control: bidder shall adherence to hospital protocols and industry best practices to minimize infection risks. • Compliance: bidder shall perform full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and RUHS Medical Center’s internal policies and procedures. • 24/7/365 coverage must be available by bidder. • Once a request for temp staff is made from the County RUHS – bidder shall respond within 36 hours. • Bidder staff provided MUST have experience in an Acute Care Medical setting. • All location specific reporting tools and maintenance records must be used, and departmental sign offs must be obtained by bidder. • Location specific chemicals must be used in accordance with facility guidelines and be of high quality. • Bidder staff must pass background and security clearance checks, as needed for access to restricted areas. • Bidder shall provide the option for various levels of staff, including Managers, Supervisors, and normal staff. There must be backups for each position if the assigned staff member is unavailable at any time. • Bidder shall provide an adequate number of staff that are English speaking, including the ability to proficiently read and write in English. • Bidder shall provide staff that are trained in hospital with specific types of cleaning needs, such as: Biohazard (blood or bodily fluids), chemicals, etc. • Bidder shall provide staff that are trained in the appropriate disposal types found in hospitals: sharps containers, biohazard waste, normal trash disposal, pharmaceutical containers, etc. • Bidder staff must abide by County RUHS required vaccines and mandated PPE; masks, gowns, gloves, etc.
