The City of Watertown is requesting bids for the construction of the 2025 Airport Improvements - SRE Roof Repair project. The project includes the removal of existing roof panels and trim, and the furnishing and installation of new roof panels and trim. The project has an expected completion date of June 5, 2026, and the substantial completion date is also June 5, 2026. The contractor will be required to submit a starting date at least 48 hours prior to work beginning, and the working day count will start on the date submitted by the contractor. The contractor will be paid as a lump sum item for the removal of existing roof panels and trim, and for the furnishing and installation of new roof panels and trim. • The project includes the removal of existing 40" wide Kingspan Insulated Standing Seam Roof Panel System and the furnishing and installation of new roof panels and trim. • The contractor will be required to control vehicle and pedestrian routes to prevent inadvertent or unauthorized entry. • The contractor will be required to ensure that all gates close behind them. • The contractor will be required to submit a 7460-1 to the FAA for airspace analysis for any and all structures, equipment, stockpiles, etc. that will exceed 20 feet above ground (AGL). • The contractor will be required to obtain a "Determination of No Hazard to Air Navigation" and provide the Engineer copies.
