The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) is seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) to provide training for over 700 new and experienced School Board of Trustees Members. The LMS should be able to house training content, track learner usage, facilitate communication between learners and instructors, assess learner understanding, and be adaptable for multilingual learners and/or those with learning disabilities. The proposal should include technical support and system access for one year. Key features of the LMS include: • Allows learners with different experience and levels of engagement to access relevant content • Allows learners to ask instructors questions at multiple points throughout the course • Allows learners, instructors, and school leaders to track registration, participation, progress, completion, and time spent on course • Allows instructor to send automated reminders to learners at various course progression levels • Allows instructor to assess learning at various points during the course • Allows instructors and Local Education Agencies to monitor progress for groups of learners easily • Allows instructor to link to supplementary materials • Allows instructor to generate a proof of completion at the end of the course • Is able to communicate information with other platforms • Is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act • With user-interface(s) that support multilingual display • Allows multiple instructors to upload and/or modify training materials, modules, and other course elements • Allows instructors to export all course content, user records, and user activity data in open formats.
