The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) to conduct various Trade Studies under contract N00019-19-C-0008 Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0405. The studies are in support of potential design changes for the Triton MQ-4C. The contract will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Level of Effort (LOE) contract modification. The anticipated period of performance will be for approximately 36 months. • The contract is for a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1. • NGSC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, integrator, and producer of the MQ-4C Triton air vehicles and ground stations. • The Government is not committed to issuing any solicitations, making an award, or being responsible for any monies expended by interested parties before award of a contract.
