The Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking proposals for Parole Board Services, including Parole Board Appointed Attorney and Parole Board Administrative Hearings Officer positions. The successful Offeror will provide legal representation for offenders and/or parolees during Revocation Hearings, and/or act as Parole Hearing Officers to conduct revocation hearings. The scope of work includes providing ongoing legal representation, presiding over hearings, reviewing case files, and maintaining confidentiality. The Offeror must possess a valid law degree and hold a license to practice law in the State of Colorado. • Key requirements include: • Providing legal representation for offenders and/or parolees during Revocation Hearings • Presiding over hearings to determine parole eligibility, release conditions, or revocations • Reviewing case files, victim statements, institutional records, and other relevant evidence • Applying state statutes, CDOC administrative regulations, and Board policies to decisions • Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with Colorado law and Board policy • Possessing a valid law degree and holding a license to practice law in the State of Colorado • Being proficient in Google Suite and adaptable to new technologies or systems as required by the Board
