Description:
The City of Ocean City is seeking a qualified contractor to perform custodial cleaning services for various City beach and boardwalk restroom facilities. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and supplies, and for ensuring that the restrooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. The contract term is for 8 months, from March 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026. The contractor will be required to provide daily cleaning services, including emptying trash cans, restocking paper products, and cleaning floors and surfaces. The contractor will also be required to provide deep cleaning services on a regular basis. • The contractor will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining 11 restroom locations, including 1st Street, 6th Street, 10th Street, 11th Street, 12th Street, 34th Street, 59th Street, and the Ocean City Music Pier. • The contractor will be required to provide a minimum of 2 male and 2 female attendants for each shift. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all restrooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard, including cleaning floors, surfaces, and fixtures, and restocking paper products. • The contractor will be required to provide weekly reports and to attend regular meetings with City staff. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all employees are properly trained and supervised.
