Description:
The Providence Public School Department is soliciting proposals for an electronic hallway pass system to be used primarily at the middle school level. The system should be teacher and student-friendly and address six specific concerns: reducing and recording hallway traffic, deterring extra-curricular meetups, reducing vandalism, helping to manage tardies and absences, providing safety during lockdowns or emergencies, and helping to monitor other school visits by students. The contract will begin on September 1, 2025, and end on June 30, 2026, with two one-year renewable options. • The system should be easy to implement and use. • The vendor should have previous experience working with schools and have a consumer-ready product or system. • The vendor should be able to provide three types of pricing: by student, by school site, and by district. • The proposal should include a profile of the partner and program proposal, measurement and impact, and pricing proposal.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$20,000 – $36,000

Based on the RFP document, the maximum budget for the proposal is $36,000. This amount is likely to cover the costs of developing, implementing, and maintaining the electronic hallway pass system for the middle schools. The actual budget may vary depending on the vendor's pricing proposal and the district's negotiation. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the system, the number of schools and students, and the duration of the contract.
