The City of Gladstone, Missouri is seeking a qualified event promoter to plan, market, and manage its 250th Anniversary Fourth of July Celebration, to be held on July 3-4, 2026. The selected promoter will be responsible for: * Comprehensive event planning, including permits, vendor management, and infrastructure coordination * Marketing and promotion, including social media, print media, and community outreach * Securing sponsorships and fundraising to offset event costs * Coordinating entertainment, including music, performances, and historical/cultural elements * Managing logistics and operations, including equipment rentals, cleanup, and safety protocols The proposal submission deadline is October 15, 2025, and the City will review proposals based on the following requirements: * Company background and experience * Proposed approach and work plan * Marketing strategy overview * Budget estimate and fee structure * Team structure and key personnel * Sample promotional materials (if available) The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents. The winning firm will be required to enter into a formal agreement with the City.
