The State of Alabama is seeking to establish a statewide Master Agreement for the provision of Telephone-Based Interpreter Services, Video Remote Interpreter Services, and Document Translation Services. This Master Agreement must be utilized by all State agencies and is available for use to city and county governmental entities, schools, and universities within the State of Alabama. Selected suppliers will provide services to state agencies and their clients who require immediate language assistance. These services are essential for supporting individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP). • The services must be compliant with HIPAA, FERPA, or other applicable confidentiality standards. • The Master Agreement includes a list of commonly interpreted and translated languages. • Suppliers must provide accurate and culturally appropriate translation services for any known language. • Deliver translations in standard editable formats within a specified turnaround time. • Provide notarized or certified translations upon request. • Provide a monthly usage report detailing services rendered, languages used, response times, and issues encountered upon request.
