The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) is seeking a single source provider for Foundations for Literacy training. The training is designed for preschool and kindergarten-aged children who are deaf or hard of hearing. The provider will deliver a professional development workshop for teachers to implement the curriculum. • The curriculum includes vocabulary, narrative skills, alphabetic knowledge, phonological awareness, and reading decodable words and short connected text. • The training will be delivered by Dr. Stacey Tucci, the sole source for Foundations for Literacy training. • The estimated dollar amount for the contract is $5,800.00. • The contract is for the FY 2025-2026 school year. • The provider will need to have experience with evidence-based interventions for deaf or hard of hearing children. • The provider will need to be able to deliver the training in a way that is fun, multi-sensory, age-appropriate, and integrated.
