The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a BD Accuri C6 Plus System Flow Cytometer for Dr. Saurabh Chatterjee’s research study. The system must have specific features such as blue and red lasers, two light scatter detectors, and four fluorescence detectors with optical filters optimized for the detection of many popular fluorochromes. The contractor shall provide the system and accessories, including software, lasers, and filters, as well as service contracts for depot repair and maintenance. The system will be used for research purposes, and the contractor must meet the salient characteristics outlined in the solicitation. • Must have blue and red laser, two light scatter detectors, and four fluorescence detectors with optical filters optimized for the detection of many popular fluorochromes. • Must have 488 nm, 640 nm laser excitation optics. • Must have 10 x 75 μm laser profile. • Must have light scatter detection 0°, ±13° (Forward) and 90°, ±13° (Side). • Must have four colors, user-changeable optical filters: FL1 533/30 nm, FL2 585/40 nm, FL3 >670 nm and FL4 675/25 nm. • Must have fixed optical alignment. • Must have flow cell 200-μm ID quartz capillary. • Must operate with 0.5 μm minimum detectable particle size. • Must operate with 50 μL minimum sample volume.
