Description:
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking information from vendors capable of providing a low-field benchtop Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) instrument. The instrument will be used to support food safety research, specifically to identify chemical compounds in food packaging and products. The required features of the instrument include a minimum 80 MHz field strength, compatibility with standard 5 mm NMR tubes, and capabilities for 1H, 19F, and 13C NMR. The vendor shall provide an integrated data system, training, and a one-year warranty. • The instrument must be newly manufactured and not refurbished or previously used. • The vendor shall provide on-site or remote installation and training for 3-4 end users. • The instrument must include a one-year Mestrelab Mnova software license. • The delivery of the instrument and all components is expected within six months of award.
