The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking to acquire two Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) to support law enforcement surveillance, investigations, and operations. The UAS will be used to provide aerial surveillance and reconnaissance, enhancing operational effectiveness, evidence collection, and officer safety. The UAS must meet the technical specifications identified in the Statement of Need, including a quadcopter platform with a foldable airframe, IP55 weather-resistance rating, and a minimum of 40 minutes flying time per battery. The UAS will be used for various law enforcement activities, including investigating illegal fishing, protecting marine resources, and ensuring compliance with federal marine statutes.
