The Fulton County Juvenile Court is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide services to Family Treatment Court (FTC) participants. The Peer Support Specialist will conduct weekly phone calls and in-person visits with FTC participants, assist with case planning, and provide support and guidance to participants. The specialist will also work with the FTC Case Manager to develop a case plan, assist participants with identifying community resources, and monitor participants for program compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and be able to provide peer support and mentorship. Key responsibilities will include: • Conducting weekly phone calls and in-person visits with FTC participants • Assisting with case planning and development • Providing support and guidance to participants • Working with the FTC Case Manager to develop a case plan • Assisting participants with identifying community resources • Monitoring participants for program compliance • Providing updates to the FTC Accountability Court Team regarding participant progress • Entering data into the case management system • Performing services at the Fulton County Juvenile Court • Working directly with adult participants in the FTC.
