The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids to establish contracts through competitive sealed bidding with qualified source(s) for the purchase of reconditioning of sports equipment for the ongoing needs of Loudoun County School Board. The initial period of the contract will be one year from the Date of Award with four additional one-year renewal options. The awarded Contractor(s) shall provide reconditioning and recertification services for athletic equipment in accordance with the National Athletic Equipment Reconditioners Association (NAERA) guidelines and the requirements of the equipment’s manufacturer(s). Key services include pick-up and delivery, re-conditioning, re-certification, and reporting. • Reconditioning services will be performed in accordance with NAERA guidelines and manufacturer requirements. • Re-certification services will be performed in accordance with NOCSAE recertification protocol and NAERA rules. • The Contractor shall provide an inventory report to each school Athletic Director and the LCPS Director of Athletics and Student Activities. • The Contractor shall comply with all applicable National Operating Committee Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) standards and guidelines of the National Federation of High School Activities (NFHSA).
