The Housing Authority of the City of Long Branch is seeking bids for as-needed general contractor services for its properties. The contractor will be required to provide a range of services, including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall, plaster repair, painting, tiling, flooring, and site work. The contractor must be available on a 24/7 basis, including weekends and holidays, and must be able to respond to emergency situations within two hours. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder on a unit price basis. • The contractor must be authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. • The contractor must be capable of providing the requested scope of services. • The contractor must be able to truthfully and accurately provide all information required on the Qualifications Statement. • The contractor must be approvable by HUD. • The contractor must not be debarred from contracting with the State or Federal Government. • The contractor must comply with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended. • The contractor must ensure that its employees and the employees of each of its subcontractors are paid in accordance with Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages.
