Description:
The City of Long Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide light and medium-duty towing, recovery, and related services to support the City of Long Beach Towing Division on an as-needed basis. The contract will be for a period of two years with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. The contractor will be required to provide towing and temporary storage services, respond to calls for service within 30 minutes, and maintain a valid business license and insurance coverage. • Provide light and medium-duty towing, recovery, and related services • Respond to calls for service within 30 minutes • Maintain a valid business license and insurance coverage • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual requirements • Provide services on an as-needed basis • Ensure that all tow truck operators possess the requisite licenses, skills, knowledge, abilities, and experience to perform all types of tow requests and vehicle recoveries without direct supervision
