The 502d Contracting Squadron at JBSA Lackland is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of providing, installing, and upgrading an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control System (ACS) at Lackland AFB. The system must meet specific requirements, including compliance with IC Tech Spec for ICD/ICS 705, and be compatible with the existing Vindicator IDS/ACS platform. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, components, and labor for the site-specific installation and repair of the system. Key components of the system include IDS/ACS installation related components and monitoring stations, alarm sensors, premise control units, access control systems, and badge manager systems.
