Description:
The VA Portland Healthcare System is seeking information from qualified contractors to perform flooring, tile, and grout restoration services, application of protective sealant coating, and quarterly maintenance services for approximately 92,305 square feet of flooring, tile, and grout. The work includes cleaning and preparing the flooring, tile, and grout for the application of protective sealant coating, and providing quarterly maintenance services to maintain the condition of the protective sealant coating. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, supervision, supplies, tools, and equipment to complete the work. • The contractor must remove all existing sealant, polish, or coating to ensure proper adhesion of the protective sealant coating. • The protective sealant coating must be antimicrobial, have a long-lasting high gloss shine, and be slip-resistant. • The contractor must provide quarterly maintenance services to maintain the condition of the protective sealant coating. • The contractor must be able to clean the flooring, tile, and grout using hospital-grade cleaners while maintaining the integrity and gloss of the protective sealant coating.
